JR Smith is horrible costing the Knicks on the defensive end.

Just turned it on...just in time, tied.

Hibbert is an impressive player.

He's pulling a Ewing.

Knicks were too soft to get it done in the end. No surprise really.

Pacers/Heat should be fun. MIA in 5.

Carmelo Anthony is going to be the Charles Barkley of this generation. Damned good player, but never got that ring.

alpha_omega 05-18-2013 08:57 PM

Congrats to pacer fans.

Carmelo is what 28 or so years old. And yes , Barkley was better, but still a top tier player that didnt get it done that should have.

Picks for next round:

MIA in 6

-Miami will have some real difficulty if they don't bring a full effort like the first two series, Indiana is excellent defensively and both Hibbert and George seem to be getting better with every game. They were able to win in 6 last year vs IND, but they needed big efforts from both LeBron and Wade and may need them again.

SAS in 7

-I can easily see Memphis winning this series. The Spurs won't be able to stop the Gasol/ZBO combination. But I think the combination of experience, coaching, depth (which Memphis is especially lacking in), and home court will help the Spurs edge it out in the end.

Barkley was also one of the best rebounders of his generation.

Agreed. Barkley affected a lot more on the court than Melo (particularly due to his rebounding).
