No way they can get everything in even with the extended episode.

I thought they should have extended last episode as well and finished up the Wall for the season. Shit it was only like 50 minutes! Tied up the other stuff in the finale.

Agreed. Tyrion's escape will wrap up, but I wouldn't be surprised to see most of the other storylines left fairly open at this point.

Episode 10 is titled The Children, so I predict it will have:

1) Stannis to the rescue, but Jon won't be named Lord Commander til next season.

2) Dany's dragons eat a kid and get locked up

3) Bran arrives at tree and meets the Children of the Forest

4) Arya and Hound split up and Arya uses her coin to get on a boat (did the previews show Brienne meeting up with Arya and the Hound?)

5) Tyrion and Jaime

6) Tyrion and Varys and Tywin....

7) Lady Stoneheart!

I thought that was fantastic. They moved the story at the wall more (and did more character development) in an hour than they'd done in the previous 4 years.

I agree with the people thinking a lot is left for next year. Jon as Lord Commander in particular. I don't think there's any way they can get to that next week. I don't think we're going to see much beyond Stannis' arrival.

I think I like that they made Jon's final trip beyond the wall voluntary rather than punishment. Makes him look even stronger.

Ygritte's death was done really well. And so were Pyp and Grenn's, although I'm not sure how I feel about them killing both of them.

I thought the scene where they recited their vows just before clashing with the giant was pretty good. But yea, I was kinda sad to see them both go. Pyp's death was pretty brutal to watch.

At least they didn't kill off Delorous Edd, his lines are usually a crack up.
