Northernlights Pizza is pretty good anyone had it?

I've had both. I'd get Leo's and tell them light provel and it would be a nice Imo's substitute when craving that style of pizza.

Northern Lights was OK, decent Midwest style pizza.

One of the worst pizzas I've had in KC was from Judge's north of the river. Just a basic, flavorless pizza.

U-Gene's in Riverside and by the airport on the other hand, was my 2nd favorite pizza in KC. They had a Friday special of a large cheese pizza for $9.99 and it was NY style foldover greatness.

I have never had judges I remember they took over Leo's old spot before they moved to north side of Englewood then appeared in the present location near me.

This U-Genes has my interest as I thought I new most the pizza joints in my neck of the woods.

When I was there a few years ago, U-Genes was up the road from Red X, across from Corner Cafe. There was also one off an airport exit but it was more like a restaurant attached to a gas station. They make some really good sandwiches as well.

Did you ever place that location I was talking about?

srvy 12-03-2017 01:12 PM

There was a Smaks in that location and Earl May lawn and Garden dont remember a auto center.

srvy 12-03-2017 01:17 PM

Diamond Joes Gentleman's club wanted to relocate to the Earl May and now pawnshop location. I think the neighborhood squashed it.
