Actually, I've even moved on from the FECO. Started with a Green Dragon extraction that was reduced to an oil, but then switched to a Golden Dragon extraction and left it as a tincture and didn't bother with evaporation. Now, I use coconut oil and make an infusion to use in making gummies.

The gummie recipe uses about half an ounce of weed to make about 150 gummies (which will vary, obviously, depending on the size of the mold). Usual dosage is two gummies. I still prefer to smoke, though, as the gummies are mostly for my wife. I do like the CBN gummies for night time, though. Wife's favorite is a 1:1 (THC:CBD). It's gives a small buzz and good pain relief.

Have some Harlequin seeds coming and am going to start experimenting with a high CBD strain and doing some mixing and matching with the high THC strains to come up with a montser gummie, something that will offer both the pain relief and a good time!

Correct me if I'm wrong since all of this is pretty new to me, but it's my understanding that FECO and RSO are the same thing. Full spectrum extract the way its distilled doesn't matter as far as what it's called.

Either way, i have no interest in making my own because it would cost so much more to buy the bud and then process it vs just buying it ready made. Currently we're not allowed to grow our own plants. If/when that changes and I can grow my own, I may get into that but for now, this works for me

RSO is extracted under heat which burns off many of the terps.

FECO process retains all those terps so it is a better product for medicinal use.

All those new fangled contraptions and I still prefer a bucket of ice and water.

Rick Simpson began cooking his cannabis in isopropyl alcohol in a crock pot. Yum!

True, RSO can be made with grain alcohol, but the original RSO used naphtha and higher temperatures. If you are going to go with grain alcohol, then the differences would be minor. From what I read about RSO method, it uses higher temperatures than FECO. I have no idea about the commercial process, as these are all DIY recipes I've looked into.

I've got a grow license in Missouri. Just doubled up, so now both the wife and I have licenses. I can grow and hold way more herb than I'll ever be able to use, so that's why I've got so much to play around with.

Pretty much tried all the distillation and infusion methods out there. Gummies seem the easiest to dose, and easiest to use, so have been doing those with an infusion. I've got 3 or 4 varieties in the freezer at all times: THC, CBD, THC/CBD, CBN. I'm going to start keeping a spice jar of decarbed bud around, use it like oregano.

Always a welcome sight no matter the outcome. Any plan of action here? Who are you looking to be the father or mother? Any specific traits you are looking for in a breeding male? How about characteristics of the female? How far do you plan on going with them down the genetic wormhole? Going to just find a keeper with growing out and smoking the F1's and then S1 the bitch? Or find what you want and breed it till around F5 for genetic stabilization?

Nah, not messing around with breeding, I meant mixing and match different strains in the production process for making gummies. Right now, all the gummies made have been strain specific and we'll manage the dose out the freezer, doing what we call a 1 and 1, for example, one THC and one CBD gummie. I'm wanting to get that one dose gummie that does it all, relieve my arthritis pain, lift my mood, and buzz my brain.

So many breeders out there doing their thing, you can find just about any kind of seed you want. Been trying out lots and lots of strains, looking for the right one and the right combination of different ones. So far, Super Lemon Haze and Jack Herer are the mainstays. Next bloom cycle, I'm trying out the Sour Diesel, Laughing Budda, and Gorilla Glue strains to see if one of them might make it into the cloning rotation with SLH and JH.

I don't. But if it has Buffalo in the name, I will strongly consider it

Definitely a lot of pollen chuckers. I don't mean that in a bad way.

I grew SLH over a decade ago and still remember alittle from it. From what I remember the 2 main phenos was one had a candy lemon smell with better calyx structure and the other was more of a lemon cleaner smell. I remember the candy lemon much better.

So much to choose nowadays from but some mainstays for me will always be Snow Leopard from Bodhi, Qush from TGA and Jabberwocky from 303 Seeds.

So, because of growing up with two parents who smoked cigarettes, I don't smoke, and the thought of smoke in my lungs disgusts me, but.....

These Wild Cherry Gummies from Missouri's Own are the best gummies. They taste like real candy. You cannot taste any of the gross, earthy dirt taste of Marijuana, and at 25mg they are powerful.

I hate the taste of weed in edibles. I believe any one that tells you they like the flavor of fresh weed is either never had it or lying to you and themselves. Then you mix sweet or savory flavors to it. No thanks.

I would rather just eat a chunk of hash if the edibles taste like any weed is in them.

Those Wild Cherry gummies don't have a hint of Marijuana taste.

I know someone who told me she loves the smell and taste of weed. I don't know how, because it FN stinks, and it tastes disgusting too.

My wife hates the taste in the weed in gummies. I absolutely love the taste.

I find that using distillate/ rso to infuse butter/oil gives you just a hint of cannabis without being overwhelming.
