I was just curious. |
Thank God, I was thinking I was slipping into full blown metrosexual mode trying to color coordinate my sneakers with casual dress.

4-5 x sneakers [3xNike360, 2xAdidas ] 5-7 x casual [sperrys, slide on loafers, etc] 5-7 x boots [work, dress, hiking, winter, shitkicker] 10-12 x dress/dress casual [wing-tips, oxfords, brogues, etc.] 1-2 x roustabout sneakers [mowing/gardening/walk to convenience store] A lot of it comes from me holding out for a good deal on quality shoes. Because first, good deals come up surprisingly regular if you know where to look, and second if you hold out for quality, shit doesn't wear out. All in all, I probably paid for my 30-35 pairs what others would have paid for 6-8 out of my collection at MSRP. |

I could see with vintage with old silk screening that a cigarette company or old beer screening. What gives what am I missing? |

The sizing used to be true - a medium is actually a medium and not something you could jump out of an airplane and use for parachuting, like the ones today. The 50/50 means it's 50% poly 50% cotton. THAT's the main thing - So very comfortable and cool (temperature) ... I absolutely love these in the summer time. |

OK I get ya now thanks. |
Good enough for Harrison Ford, good enough for me.

I have very fine, wispy hair. It can be hard to keep in place, and lacks volume typically. What styling product should I use?
|
Hair glue with paste thickener in it.

Also I recommend you go to Sally Beauty and buy a $35+ blow-dryer - You'll be amazed the difference in a good quality hair dryer.

You want my ****ing advice or not?
Short and tight faded high on the sides and in the back, long but tip trimmed in the front and atop. Johnny B Mode Gel on sides and back w/ a fine toothed comb. blow dry top to spike sort of. finish style on the top w/ dope pomade and then tell me how smart I am, days later. |

but a high quality blow dryer ABSOLUTELY will help you control what in the **** you're doing.
You go to Walmart and buy a Conair for $7.99 it's simply not going to work even close to the same, trust me I'm an expert. |
& frankly is worth every penny.
|
I wouldn't use a blowdryer if you paid me.

Are you girls on speaking terms again? I hope so. This is good reading.

New belt - $93
|
No belt is worth $93

A belt that is $93 - like the OTHER double RL belts I've owned have literally lasted 15 years. So consider their shelf life - and for me - I like a more weathered look - so it's hard for me to find a Perry Ellis belt I like for $19.99. The belts on the rack today are absolutely horrible - It takes a dedicated discrete web search to find any - Or if you're fortunate enough for your local Polo store to have a Double RL wing in their store. Trust me the extra costs mean extra life span. Ask Vailpass. |

I know it may seem silly but the circles in which I have to swim make it true. And I don't apologize for it though I know it's not the same for all and can admire those that don't have to care. |

I don't give a rats ass about the brand - just so happens RL has made the only ones I've found that I like - I literally can pick out a car faster than a belt of a ball cap. I've been buying a bunch of vintage NEW tees that are 50/50 cotton to poly. Very thin and fit very nicely - If anyone is interested I can share the seller on ebay - those TOO aren't cheap though - they're about $22 each but they're from the seventies and they're new - been in storage. Clay I know you like tees but you're cheap - however if you ARE interested - just let me know.

This group is relatively new to the area and they are just starting to get into their target markets. The "organic", "farm fresh", and "hand crafted" markets here are just too small for them to really strive like they do in Pennsylvania and New York. They've also been a very closed off community which makes doing business with them difficult to say the least. It definitely looks like the kid is selling himself WAY short though if there are really that many people willing to pay that kind of coin for the quality, and not the name. I'm going to show him that picture and see if he can push whatever method he weathers his belts and bracelets with that far. :thumb: |
