Also Chiefs have (7) Receivers in Kelvin Benjamin, Sammy Watkins, Gehrig Dieter, Demarcus Robinson, Tyreek Hill, Marcus Kemp, and Chris Conley. Benjamin or Dieter would seem more logical for a cut rather than reduce your roster to 3 safeties. So back to...Eric Berry plays.

Dieter to safety seems like it would get more play than EB29 at this point.

Yesn't

If you're going to be on the sideline, at least represent properly and wear your uniform.

If it's true we only have 2 active safeties now it would appear as though Berry is being counted on to step up. Ron Parker hegone

NFL Rules - Only 46 active players can dress for game. I will give you this though, Eric Berry does seem to go pretty "casual".

I don't care if you are pro Berry or anti Berry, it seems foolish to count on him for much of anything at this point. I wonder what their backup plan is.

ChiefRocka 01-15-2019 01:19 PM

Dieter got snaps on Saturday. Almost forgot about that.

If they weren't sure, they would have cut on of the many WR's we are carrying, or an extra TE since they don't go 3 TE packages much. Unless they are going to take Armani watts off IR.

He made a key first down as well. I really like this kid. Him and Mahomes are like best friends. Dieter brings energy and could be a solid Wes Welker type. Yes I used him cuz he’s white and short. But both possession receivers

Exactly. Berry is GOING TO PLAY.

Didn't know that. Thanks!

Why? What's the point? The rust is strong with EB; he's no longer an asset on the field at this point in the season.

We agree on that point. My concern is that he hasn't finished either game he played in. Are they really just going to trust that he holds up?

Didnt vote because there isnt a "who cares?" option

If we can get a few quality snaps out of him, fine... if not, I'm perfectly at peace with that as well

We made it this far without him, and we can finish it without him
