Though you may get a better return if you just take on Myers and his whole salary. It’s a dump, not an attempt for them to improve themselves.

My thoughts, though, are that Witt-Mondesi-Lopez would be an INCREDIBLY rangy IF and with the changes in shifts, would go back to giving the Royals a defensive advantage that shifting helped demolish.

My take on Santana, sure he needs to go to make room for the kids! But what if, Santana comes back stronger the 1st half of the season off an injured last year?

If nothing else Santana will be a great role model for the young players. He needs to hit more but he's still a guy who will grind out a 9 pitch walk in the 9th inning of a game that's over. Royals never have guys like that.
