Klay Thompson 7 for 8 on 3s. 29 points.

That's exactly why it isn't worrying. He's not going to go 7 for 8 from 3 point land in the 2nd half.

Reversion to the mean applies to everything.

God damn

Curry and Thompson make 3s look like layups. They are lethal right now.

Not worried at all. They're on a hot streak again. They won't shoot like this for the entire game and they will fall short again.

Doesn't matter if he doesn't go 7 for 8 from 3. Even if he has a below average half, the Spurs have to play damn near perfect AGAIN for them to get the win.

Coming back in the NBA takes a lot of effort an energy. It's extremely hard to do it on a consistent basis.

Klay is a streaky shooter.. but from what I have seen his streaks go for an entire game.

The Spurs just aren't impressive this year. The defense is really down, and Parker and Ginobli aren't firing at 100% right now. If Golden State blows this one Mark Jackson should be fired on the spot.

Give me the team that gets big leads and chokes them away over the team that has to fight back from big leads any day of the week.

GS has a margin for error in the 2nd half. Spurs dont. GS can let Spurs go on a 10-0 run and still have control of the game. If the Spurs let the Warriors go on another run, it's over.

ImAWalkingCorpse 05-08-2013 08:52 PM

Other thing I noticed about the 4th quarter from the last game was when Klay fouled out, his defensive presence was felt.

Golden State has looked like the better team in this series. They are looking like a permanent fixture in the West if they stay healthy.

Yep. Give them some time to mature and they'll be making noise for years to come.

dirk digler 05-08-2013 08:55 PM

Didn't they give up a 16 point lead in like 5 minutes in Game 1?

They need to take the air out of the ball a little bit and no quick shots.

Brandon Rush was a big loss for the Warriors right at the start, too.

KC_Connection 05-08-2013 08:59 PM

The Warriors have getting the big lead down pat, now just need to not choke them away.

They need to keep playing like they're playing. They got conservative last game. Come out of half time like it's 0-0.

That being said... goddamn, refs. Worst officiated game I've ever seen and one of the things that can make the NBA hard to watch sometimes. This is going to be a physical series and I just hope that NBA will just let the players play next game.
