He got me a bottle of the double oaked and I have to say I like the regular better. Its a bit much, but it will get drank.

We sell a lot more of the regular than the DO. We finally ran out of the KY Derby yesterday.

I’m hitting what I have left of my 2018 Old Forester Birthday Bourbon tonight.

Shit is fantastic.

Try Breckinridge if you get a chance. Runs about 40 and easy on the water if you like water. It is easy to go to much just a splash will do.

Picked up a bottle today, it's good! Incredibly smooth, good, complex flavor, and still packs a punch. I'd still put it behind Stonehammer and Buffalo Trace personally, but perhaps I should get a bottle of each just to verify...

Either way, very enjoyable, thanks for the suggestion.

Speaking of collections, I just realized I've never posted mine. This is what's regularly out, plus I have some spares of Blantons, McKenna, EH Taylor, Wathens and Eagle Rare stashed.

PM me your address.

I'm not much of a drinker. I'm wondering if I have a potential drinking problem though because whenever I see people on TV pouring themselves a drink I have an urge to do the same. This started about a year ago when I binged the Ray Donovan show where he's constantly pouring himself some kind of whiskey.

Does this happen to anyone else? Do I need help?

No problem, glad you like it. I agree that it is smooth almost too smooth. I use less than half the water I would for Pendelton or Buffalo Trace.

Jefferson Reserve is pretty good. Knob Creek slightly chilled is nice. I have become a fan of chilling my drink rather than using ice as it doesn't water the drink down. Knob Creek at room temp/no ice I would go with single barrel. I haven't tried their smoked maple yet.
