Finished "Madrigal" finally today. My prediction:

Mike is setting up the whole gang to take a fall and make it so that he can keep his money for his grand daughter. He's "recreating" the ring, so he can turn it all over to the Feds and screw all the people who he hates (Walt and the chemist chick) in the process. He'll probably try to find a way to keep Jesse out of the mess.

Well, you may be on to something seein that it's obvious that walt's in hiding at the beginning of the 1st ep and getting ready for a showdown.

Other wild-ass guess.

Walt Jr. may be on the blue. They made a big deal of him saying he wasn't hungry, then flashing to his uneaten bowl of cereal as he leaves the house to go to school. I know that people have guessed this might happen in the past, but this is the first overt hint I've seen about it.

Holy hell, what an episode. The "not so" veiled threat to Jesse at the end was chilling.

Thank God for streams/netflix. I can't follow tv shows week to week. Always forget to tune to them.


Guess I'll be watching this ep tomorrow or whenever a stream pops up.

There were so many excellent moments in this episode, it's hard to list them all.

Walt coming back home without ever talking to his wife, like it didn't even occur to him. And Skylar being so intimidated she can't even say anything about it.

Walt putting Skylar's breakdown back on her, to Marie. Making himself the sympathetic figure.

Walt's broken.

I didn't read it as a threat to Jessie. I read it as putting it into Jessie's mind that Mike isn't infallible, that Mike might have to be killed at some point.

That is pretty much what I got from it.

Just finished. That's what I got out of it.

Was Jesse's chick played by a different actress?
