Roles reversed from Game 1. That last 2 minutes of Game 1 was brutal for Memphis after leading almost the entire game.

Wow, when I searched the spread for the game, this was under the "Images" search:

RT @BallinWithBryan: Memphis outscored OKC 11-2 when Perkins checked back into the game at the end.

The difference in the game was the minutes Durant didn't play. His +/- in his 43 minutes was 0.

It was more the double teams. I have no idea what took him so long. Aside from Fisher no one on this team wants to take a shot.

The team just isn't giving Durant enough help outside of Fisher. I can't believe I'm saying that.

I gain peace in knowing there is no way they can justify bringing Perkins back. He's ****ing awful all the way around.

I love you fantasy GMs with your revisionist history on the Green/Perkins trade. They had no idea Harden was going max player at that time. Harden wasn't even a shadow of what he became when Jeff Green was there because he didn't get the touches. Green was killing us defensively because he was the starting power forward. Our interior defense was horrible. I doubt we get near as far as we are right now without that trade and the domino effect not because Perkins has been a great player. They needed an interior defender and got one even though he's a sack of shit today. Would I take Jeff Green coming off the bench over Perkins starting? **** yes! It was the right move at the time, and it did payoff in making us better defensively and developing other players. It also cost us in the Finals, but that's Scott Brook's fault solely. Some of you act you should just pack every scorer you can on a roster, and you will score 160 points a game. There is so many shots to distribute. Moves looks bad right now because Russell Westbrook is in the sky box. Hindsight is 50/50 mother ****ers!

Good win Kev. See you in another close game Saturday I'm sure :)

That's pretty much a stat every game since his hip flexor injury last year.

How many of those minutes was Perkins on the floor genius? I think I'm going to have to take a break from message boards. This game was all KD's fault. Got it! Brilliant analysis.

he wasn't faulting Durant

he was saying if Durant played every minute maybe it would have been a different outcome

Kevin Martin is just god awful.

What a terrible, terrible, terrible trade that turned out to be.

okcchief 05-07-2013 11:04 PM

Durant can't play every minute of every game. Other people have to start making plays. The difference is Serge Ibaka and Kevin Martin bricking shots all over the place again. Durant is doing everything he can. If dicks were hitting a small percentage of shots people would be tripping over themselves to suck his dick right now. When the guys hit the wide open shots it changes the picture.

Really cant say that yet. Harden is a complete turd in the playoffs usually and the Thunder still have a shit ton of high draft picks coming.

and I don't care about hindsight okcchief

Presti has made atrocious moves

the Green trade, the Harden trade

shit, I would have taken Steph Curry over Harden anyways and he would have been a PERFECT #3 for a team with Durant and Westrbook

and I said that at the time...I was puzzled when they took Harden even though he ended up being a star as well

...but then they traded him for $0.50 on the $1

they ****ed up a potential dynasty; a shame

Durant won't be getting any titles until LeBron decides he wants to hang 'em up. A shame, really.
