Using your “logic”, Lamar Jackson > Russell Wilson because Lamar has a regular season MVP and Wilson does not, correct?

Dak doesn’t get to play the Browns/Bungholes twice a year like Lamar does.

Although Lamar was curb stomped by Fat Freddie Kitchens’ Browns last year so maybe that isn’t a legit advantage.

No, instead Dak gets to beat up on the Giants and Name Redacteds twice a year. And this year apparently the Eagles are the worst ones of the bunch. No clue what happened there.

Lamar ran for over 1200 yds, had 7 rushing TDs and 36 passing TDs w not one Pro Bowl WR and you guys think Dak is better than him?

Wow....

And flamed out in the playoffs (again).

Wrong, that's not what I responded to, he was talking about qb's that could run that won a SB..
I'd take Russel over Lamar for the record. The MVP part is just one factor of many.

Well I guess Marino sucks then too since he never won a SB. Oh and btw what has Dak ever won?

What weapons does Lamar have w Ravens?

I'm not talking about Dak. If you could read, you'd see I wouldn't take either one of them.

But nice job trying to deflect.

First of all, Marino won 3 playoff games in his first 4 years in the league. So that excuse doesn't work.

And as far as weapons, Lamar had the #3 scoring defense in the league that allowed only 15 TD's all season and forced 25 turnovers.

So much for not having any support.

Don't go for the belly. He's bloated by now

Apparently you already forgot that Lamar having a regular season MVP and Dak not having an MVP was one of your primary arguments as to why you think Lamar > Dak.

The problem isn’t just that Lamar hasn’t won in the playoffs, it’s that he’s had 2 of his worst performances in those games as well.

Warrick 09-30-2020 09:16 PM

No, I was editing my post as you were writing that that last response, check it again KCChiefsfan88

He's played very, very well when the running game and defense are working.

When they don't work, neither does he. He's teetering on the cliff of being a "system QB" and people just can't accept that.

You may want to check his overall stats instead of a few bad games simply because it fits your agenda. If dude wasn't hard to stop he wouldn't have won MVP last season. He can play. He isn't the best or a prime Brady or P Manning but he is good.

He’s a faster, taller and more athletic Tim Tebow.

Plus, the level of talent and coaching rises significantly in the playoffs.

QB’s often face defensive wrinkles that weren’t seen on film and everyone’s game, from the coaching staff to the last guy on the 53, is at its highest level because everyone knows what’s at stake (especially monetarily).

That's a fair criticism but when he is on he is on. You don't run for over 1k yards and throw 36 tds and just 6 ints in a season because you are an average QB, dude can ball

Mahomes_Is_God 09-30-2020 10:33 PM

I would take Dak over Jackson any day. He's an actual QB. After Monday night I will never be able to view Jackson as anything more than a glorified RB.
