Not bad for Miami.

Patrick Queen surely can’t get much higher and that bodes well for Bolton’s upcoming negotiations.

Couldn't utilize his skillset, so they targeted him 146 times.

Yep, makes sense.

He doesn’t understand that.

Or that Baltimore was running a run first option offense.

Brown was a fancy decoy.

That’s why they didn’t need him.

If they sign Brown, a guy like Worthy becomes redundant and you’d then have to consider the bigger WRs in the draft. As in, 6’0” +.

If they sign Brown, you likely aren't going WR in round 1 anyways.

Sign Brown.

Trade Sneed for a 2nd.

OT, DL, or CB in round 1.

WR and one of those 3 in round 2.

146 targets is one hell of a decoy.

Good grief, you guys are terrible at this.

I’m curious what will happen with Danna and Gay.

Zero news on either, unless I’ve missed it. Both are intriguing players to me.

The longer Ridley and Brown go unsigned, the more hope I have in Veach pulling off a deal.

Yep, makes sense.

You can "target" a guy 300 times. If the ball is being thrown by a trash passer what good is that exactly?

Yeah Lamar Jackson is a SUPERB downfield thrower. Ask Spags about that. We freaking DARED them to throw it downfield the entire game.

Ravens were trying to shove a square peg into a round hole and they knew it!

You just checkmated yourself.

Got you.

Players that suck don’t get targeted that much.

pugsnotdrugs19 03-11-2024 05:29 PM

Bottom line it’s a great year to need multiple WRs

The draft class strength is clearly impacting the FA prices

LMAO We were seemingly always interested in the fastest guys available even when we had Tyreek. Just had no realistic way up to get them. Hell, didn't we make our interest in Ruggs so apparent the Raiders took him as the first out of that entire class.

Eh. Kinda. Brown would take on the Hardman/KT role while a guy like Worthy would take on MVS's role.

But like Staylor said, if you sign Brown then the Chiefs are likely looking at a day 2 WR.

For the record, in the Mahomes era the Chiefs only have two players with more than 146 targets in a season.

Kelce with 152 in 2022 and Reek with 159 in 2021.

Decoys in a run first offense.
