So who does the snow benefit here? The offense or defense? On one hand, do the Colts DB's really want to be chasing Tyreek, Sammy and Demarcus on a surface like that? I'd also speculate that the QB with the stronger arm should be the one who can cut through the showy elements. Some are talking about the "run game", but the Colts were gonna run the ball anyway. I just think this won't help the Colts defense when you're playing a team with so much speed in potentially slippery conditions.

Of course you want to play a speed offense in snow
Why is that debated? |
Boarding a short flight from Phx to San Diego. There’s weirdly a large amount of Colts fans on my flight.

Weather looks completely fine for Pat

I don’t care what anybody says, the Colts are a dome team coming into a hostile environment and their QB is going to be hurt by the weather more than ours. |

I'd argue against that. The Colts are a play action heavy offense. We're going to be able to tee off on the run a bit more today than we would if it was 60 and sunny. The weather simplifies the defense for us a bit. |

well, on one hand, the fact that Mahomes is so good at improvisation and throwing from any platform is helpful. People are going to fall down, things are going to be weird, and he's great when things break down. On a slick, wet field, that might be a useful skill.

The only good part of the Chiefs defense is the pass rush. That gets neutralized if the Colts run the ball 80% today. |
