Anytime you can upgrade a position of need in FA with a young talented player you do it. Especially since he will not be too expensive.

ChiefsCountry 11-28-2012 10:09 PM

Well we got #55 available for him.

Houston -McClain - Johnson - Hali

Damn.

You liked him in 2009?

I think the guy plays his role well, but that he is a limited ceiling type guy that needs to do all the little things exceptionally to stick as a long term starter and hasn't really improved over 2010 and in some ways has regressed (like the rest of the team has)

he is an average starter. It's not like he is terrible, he is just limited because of his measurables. It's not like defenses need stars at every position and his is probably the least important of all in this defense.

I think he is a good "banger" but that he has reached his ceiling in that role and that a player like Rolando is a clear upgrade because of his footmall acumen and size upgrade.

oh and KC is much better at developing

players are getting WORSE under Pioli.

If you look at all of Pioli's personnel **** ups, you have to come to the conclusion that he is doing it on purpose. I fully believe that Pioli will pass on McClain. If he is claimed, somebody else will have forced it upon Pioli or it will have been a complete accident.

What

BigRock 11-28-2012 10:16 PM

For some reason I read this entire thread while confusing McClain with Aaron Curry. I guess because they were both LBs taken high, both were in Oakland, and Curry just got cut a few days back.

But it was like living in bizarro world for 5 minutes.

teedubya 11-28-2012 10:17 PM

Hahah, person shitty enough to get cut by the Raiders... oh, haha you have to sign with another team, that is shittier than the Raiders.
#shittiest. Waivers, bitch!

"Thank God I don't have to watch Rolando McClain anymore! It is an honor and a privilege to play and he was an embarrassment not only To the Raiders and to all the warriors who worked their asses off. Sorry but I am glad not to see him play again...hopefully EVER!"

we had his cousin Leron McClain who was a gigantic turd waste and probably only has bad things to say about the Chiefs why we would want the same exact culture in Rolando

Hayworth Hicks - G - Chiefs
Chiefs claimed OG Hayworth Hicks off waivers from the Jets.
Tampa Bay also put in a claim on Hicks. He spent three weeks on the Jets' active roster after being signed off Indianapolis' practice squad. It's purely a depth move.

In related Waiver wire news. Are we always number 1 in the waiver order?
