A lot of teams this year have throwback jerseys for a couple of games. Some of them are pretty great like the Titans Oilers uniform. Assuming we do one in the next few years, what jersey should they be based on?

I'd have thought a quite simple AFL jersey modelled on this one would be pretty nice.

I might be missing something but it looks like our uniforms have barely changed at all in 60 years. Not too much to choose from.

I'm sorry but that jersey is just like the one I wore on my jr high team.... Plain and ugly.. Their jerseys are so much better today...

Unlike several NFL franchises, the Chiefs' uniform design has essentially remained the same throughout the club's history.[1] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logos_and_uniforms_of_the_Kansas_City_Chiefs#cite_note-Uniform_History-1) It consists of a red helmet, and either red or white jerseys with the opposite color numbers and names.[1] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logos_and_uniforms_of_the_Kansas_City_Chiefs#cite_note-Uniform_History-1) White pants were used with both jerseys from 1960–1967 and 1989–1999.[1] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logos_and_uniforms_of_the_Kansas_City_Chiefs#cite_note-Uniform_History-1) After a brief disappearance, the Chiefs re-introduced the all-white uniform combinations for the 2006 season.
Although many NFL teams in recent years have worn their dark jerseys with their dark pants, the Chiefs unveiled their all-red combination for their 2013 home opener against the Dallas Cowboys. When the Chiefs wear their red uniforms, they had always worn white pants, until September 15, 2013. The Chiefs have never worn an alternate jersey in a game, although gold jerseys with red numbers trimmed in white, and black jerseys with red numbers trimmed in gold, are sold for retail

Sadly we don't really have them. We should flip the script and do alt history jerseys.
Darker red, metallic gold and pearl white. Or chiefs from pagan Europe and their colors.

They basically did this during the Todd Haley years when they wore the Dallas Texans jerseys one year. Only difference is they wore the actual old school helmet with the Texas map on it.

Bet the NFL is annoyed by all the Mahomes/Kelce alt jersey money being left on the table

Just don't put the state of Texas back on the helmets like they did in 2009.

I wouldn't mind seeing them use the helmets with the larger arrowhead logo, like they had in SB IV.

That would be cool NO DOUBT !! I would like to see a totally different emblem not ever used. The same white KC letters(extra big) on the hemet without the Arrowhead.

I can’t see that happening!

I recall the Rams using gold instead of yellow the year following their Super Bowl win. Could the Chiefs do something similar and would it even look good?

Jerseys of today definitely have less blood on them.

Keep the arrowhead, only make it BIGGER, like the '60's..

Those photos of daytime Super Bowls aged beautifully.

Did I hear correctly that way back in the day the arrowhead wasn’t flipped to face forward on the opposite side of the helmet?

I love that the Chiefs have kept things consistent. We don’t need a NCAA style flashy jersey with gawdy colors and digital numbers.
