who used to stretch way out when catching? I used to love to watch him catch. It was cool how he covered home plate

I believe Benito Santiago used to do it as well. Pena said it was really comfortable, and I bet it was a lot easier on the knees. Santiago apperantly through someone out trying to steal second from the position. Never saw footage or replay, but that would be a heck of a throw.

Pena did it too, with the cardinals in the late 80s. Dude had a cannon.
