Can't you just install a fax printer driver. That way you can fax natively from whatever application you want to send info from [Office, Acrobat, Email, etc.]. You'd probably still need a fax modem to do that anymore, though.

Yes, any email program should let you send emails to FAX.

What version of Windows are you in. I'm in Win7, and I have a fax printer driver automatically installed, even though I've never had a fax modem on this system [first DSL then 2Wire BB].

Never tried it as never had someone as a recipient who had fax only, but it's there.

Look under Devices and Printers. Start on Control Panel [IIRC] in older version of Windows.

this is some sort of VOIP software, but it runs in Linux, and also boasts a Linux fax driver.

efax.com or microfax.

They're actually very good for businesses that need signatures like real estate. Emails come in in PDF format and you can forward the email.

Thanks for the help guys, but I found my solution.

Signed up for a free fax message phone number at K7.net
then found faxzero.com They give you 5 free faxes a day with a limit of 3 pages per fax. k7 supplies the fax message number free. They just require you use it or they will delete your account in 30 days. cool set up between the two.

I'll send my faxes with faxzero and receive them in my email through k7 . cool shit
