So it looks like Scrubs will NOT be done after this season (7) ends.

ABC actually produces the show that airs on NBC. Originally, season 7 was to be the last season with 18 episodes. However, NBC will only air a total of 11-12 thanks to the writer's strike. The remaining episodes from season 7 will still be made and either shown on NBC -OR- released to DVD -OR- be shown on ABC.

Then it looks like another 18 episode season 8 will be made and sent to ABC!

NBC is stupid... just plain DUMB. This is the funniest show on TV.

I dont watch tv regularly, if ever really. Literally 10 hours or less in the last 6 weeks, but when I do watch, scrubs entertains me pretty well. Kind of wish I watched it more so I might get more of what is going on, but oh well. Seems good to me. How does that work for ABC though? Producing a show on a rivals net seems kind of backwards.

It was a pretty damn funny show for a time. This past season I got kinda tired of JD, and some of the tired jokes they have.

That said, I am glad they are coming back for another season.

I just got into watching the shows via re-runs on fox/comedy central within' the last year or two. I've rented a few of the seasons since then and was actually wondering what was going to happen. Thanks alot!

I love Scrubs, it's probably one of my top 5 series that I watch. There are several back episodes that actually really choke me up (mainly, the one where Carla and Turk find out they are pregnant). But when you go back and watch episodes from the first 2-3 seasons, and watch the newer ones, it has gone way over the top. The slapstick used to be cute, but they keep going further and further with it, and JD and Elliot have become pretty much cartoon characters, when they used to be pretty well developed characters.
I hope they can find a way to reign it back in, because when I read about ABC picking it up last week, I was ecstatic.

i hate it that JD gets all these hot chicks but bitches all the time. what a pussy. He almost kills the show for me. If it wasn't for the janitor reminding me so much of my dad then i wouldn't watch it
