View Full Version : Who had the better offseason?

So... I bring this up because during the offseason I made the comment that "Browncos or not, I think we had a better offseason than you guys." Of course, that was met with laughter and I was reminded at how terrible the Browns were against the run and where they stood defensively last season. One guy even went so far as to take this 'hilarious' idea that the Broncos had a better offseason and use it as a sig line to poke fun at me.
I'm not here to troll, but I am here to finish the discussion... Or at least take it to the next point.
Given what happened last night, is there a case you can make in favor of your defense and in detriment of ours? Or can we maybe give Shanahan some credit?
Finish the discussion? It's week 4.

I thought it was all Price and 8 men in the box. Had you guys not gotten up on us so fast and had Parker actually caught something, the game might have gone a little different...

It's week 4? What point is there? We haven't even reached the "quarter" point. Both teams have had one great game, one decent game, and one horrible game. If you really wanted "something", I guess I'd say that looking at the games individually, we're about even.
And hey, look at that! We're both 2-1. Amazing how that works.

If only Shannahan had succeeded in running off Trevor Pryce, things would have been fine at Incestco last night. He was an animal that we could not handle.
Your always here to troll. That's what you do best. You won 1 game against KC at home, without Roaf, Sims, Warfield, and Welbourn, and with Sampson, Dunn, and Carlos Hall not at 100%.
You kicked our *ss at home, great. We will see what happens when Denver comes to Arrowhead. KC by far had the better offseason.

Right now it is equal. We are both 2-1 so let's wait until the end of the season.

I don't know why you guys get so upset at TJ, it baffles me. You guys trash him all week then you expect him not to come here and run some smack.

Good point, and if I may add something:
I don't believe that an offseason is judged by 3 weeks, it's only after the entire year that both teams will know if their investments were worth it.
Having said that, I also believe you are here to get after some folks who might have ran off at you during the offseason about the Browns D-Line, so I won't take up anymore time here, and let you and them argue about it.
P.S. PARADIGM!
I just have to throw that in every 3 or 4 posts

It's kind of early for that. Or has our season ended already? ROFL

Why would TJ want to do that when we can do it now.

You prove your point every time you post on the planet. Why would anyone here need to prove that you are one?

For Browncows fans it might as well be over (from the talk generated by them so far at least).
They shot their load, and picked up some injuries in the process.
In the end will it really mean anything at all?
Only time will tell.

Nope, too late. Season's over. Time for college basketball season.

The more revealing question is:
How many Chiefs fans are really all that surprised with the final score?
All week long the general consesous at work was "The Chiefs will lose at least one of the next two games, if not both".
