Old news. It's not a worm, it's a snake. And that slimy snake has been slithering in our garden for a very, very long time.

In all fairness, millions of Americans were duped—they rely on charm and good speaking that pushes the right buttons. Then it's business as usual. America has been on the road to being a police state since 9/11. This includes attacking and invading countries that had nothing to do with 9/11. Barack Obama is owned by the same interests as Bush.

Think this will be my next purchase:

One review:

A cautionary tale, freedom and how to lose it
This is a brilliant summary of how an otherwise intelligent and sensible people fall into fascism and dictatorship - one seemingly reasonable decision at a time. I was horror stricken through his narrative, as it was impossible for me not to see the similarities to the present day.

Until people can accept that the system has been corrupted, nothing will ever change. We will only get the childish, never ending Republican vs Democrat, Conservative vs Liberal arguments.

9/11 was used as a tool to corrupt the system and people from both parties were jumping all over each other to prove they were more patriotic and cared more about 'Murica than the other.

Exactly!

This is why those who want that kind of security should not be free. Such laws should not be passed and having a Finance Police called the IRS should have never passed for the same reasons.

N.B. If there was a formal Declaration of War, should something similar be needed, it would create a legal state for it, that would have a beginning and an end where such things get restored. This is endless and permanent situation.

I want to read that book also thanks for the tip.

This review said.

The more you read, the more your jaw drops. How many people did it require to take over a country? "A few hundred at the top, to plan and direct.... a few thousand to supervise and control.... a few score thousand specialists, eager to serve...a million to do the dirty work...."
