Ice Cream Bread

Gonna make this today.

Quote:
This is a very simple sweet bread. It sounds crazy, but yes, it really works! You can use any flavor of ice cream, just make sure itís not low- or non-fat.

2 cups Ice Cream
1-Ĺ cup Self-Rising Flour

Stir together ice cream and flour, stirring just until flour is moistened. Spoon batter into a greased and floured 8◊4 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean. Remove from the pan, and cool on a wire rack.

Made this last night with plain hy-vee chocolate ice cream. Took one bite and dumped the pan. Maybe it was the ice cream though.

Chocolate fudge brownie. Aside from tasting strange, it was terribly bland. And yes, I made sure to use self-rising flour.

I just brought a tub of Rocky Road. I will let you guys know how it turns out in couple hours.

P.S. If I die of food poisoning, may peace and joy continue in this board.
