Ice Cream Bread

Gonna make this today.

Quote:
This is a very simple sweet bread. It sounds crazy, but yes, it really works! You can use any flavor of ice cream, just make sure itís not low- or non-fat.

2 cups Ice Cream
1-Ĺ cup Self-Rising Flour

Stir together ice cream and flour, stirring just until flour is moistened. Spoon batter into a greased and floured 8◊4 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean. Remove from the pan, and cool on a wire rack.

How do people discover this shit?

Do they trial/error a bunch of stuff, nearly burn their house down, and end up throwing away 99% of the experiments?

It's 2 scoops of ice cream and flour for a whole loaf. It's not THAT bad, per slice.

It's two cups, not two scoops. And curious, do you use two cups of frozen or two cups of melted?

Do you have the original link?
