Geoff Schwarz on 610

Said he will play wherever he can get playing time but he would prefer to play Guard. Says he gets to impatient when he plays Tackle with his hand work, specifically his punch on the defender.

He hasn't played LG since freshman year in college. But he said they are rotating them around him practice. He went from RT to LG. Said that was kinda weird.

Also said, He was in Minnesota last year and he compared Eric Fisher to Vikings OT Matt Kahlil.

They pay a punter 3+ million a year
They are paying a 31 year old corner 6 million
They are paying Tyson Jackson 5 million

But they won't pay a left tackle 8.5-9?

They aren't even talking to Albert. They don't want him.

Yes he has.

If Albert is such a good LT, then why is the most desperate GM in the NFL the only one wanting him?

Nope and I doubt that the Chiefs even finish their dinner and get to their war room before (3) Qb's are gone.

Bowe and Colquitt have been consistently among the best players at their position and have earned a pro bowl berth.

Jackson is getting HALF of what Albert is for one year. If he sucks this year, he's gone. Not comparable to Albert at all.

I don't agree. I think Fisher is a better pass blocker. He's thin and more lanky than traditional RT's, although i think he could do fine there.

Fish is a good run blocker but i think he's a better pass protector and an ideal LT.

Wow looks like the deal isn't gonna go through.

Wonder what Albert thinks now that nobody wants to give him his long-term $9 million a year contract?

He probably thinks he'll be counting his current 9 million while he's sitting out of all the offseason workouts.
