Boston is America's 9th or 10th largest geographic region in terms of economic activity, at about a billion dollars a day. That makes it larger, just so you know, than Greece or Portugal.

A lengthy discussion with an economist I heard said that it was probably about $300 million or so of lost economic activity. Obviously not all economic activity was lost as MANY people worked remotely or were in other parts of the greater Boston area and had a "normal" (nearly normal, at best, I guess) work day.

Wait, you mean the law that DOES NOT apply to the Massachusetts National Guard, which is the only military that I am aware of that was used?

The good news, is that I hear veteran police investigators reject this approach and claim that it wasted resources. Don't blame it on the police though, it's the politicians that demanded this.

Your stupidity knows no bounds.

And this sounds plausible to you?

Be prepared for even more loss of rights, more groping by govt....and for sheep to cheer it on because they have nothing to hide.

An eyewitness to a melee of events happening in the middle of the night. The cops that were there were not eyewitnesses?

BAsically the eyewitnesses version of events don't really make much sense. They ran him over THEN shot him? What kind of stupid way is that to kill someone? If they want him dead, just shoot him. Nobody is going to say you weren't justified when they're shooting back and throwing bombs out.

The cops did say that they put a cruiser on drive and abandoned the vehicle, which headed for the bastards, to draw fire. If that car had run him over, why not say so? It's not like people will complain...

Here's the bottom line-- the eyewitnesses' version suggests that the cops are lying, but there's no earthly reason for them to lie.

Here's a non-cop eyewitness verifying the cops' story. Oh, and the eyewitness was so close to the action bullets entered his house!

Contradictory reports are still contradictory reports.
