I havent seen anything about them being used against christians, nor would i believe it to be true... so leave me out of that one.

But the basic fact remains the same, government is out of control... Obama isnt just maintaining the status quo on all of these agencies Bush got started, he's expanding them. Its unneccessary and soaking up untold amounts of money.

Do you see where the Survivalist blog makes the jump? Their argument is roughly:

P1: Navistar makes vehicles for military (Navistar report)
P2: Military is drawing down troops in Afghanistan (general knowledge)
P3: Homeland Security is buying the vehicles from military (unsourced)
C: These tanks are going to be used on American streets against citizens

I’m not sure what you think you’ve got with the bolded. It’s company reporting on trade shows.
I have made no inference as to the intended use of these vehicles but since we can now acknowledge that DHS is indeed buying them I think the expense of it and their intended use are legitimate topics of discussion.

Well, BuckEyedPsycho posted a video of an officer being interviewed discussing them so I think it’s safe to say some have been purchased. The 2700 order hasn’t been verified that I know of though.

So what people are all upset about is that in a drug and violence infested part of the country next to the Mexican border, they have purchased at least one armored vehicle for serving high risk warrants? Do people realize what's going on down there on a daily basis?
