Where is the poster Therman Mermann? I thought there was one. I want to hear his thoughts on this movie.

Saw this yesterday. Was ok, but not near as good or funny as the first one. Def had its moments. That big girl security guard had me more interested than most of the movie. And holy shit, when did Kathy Bates turn into Ron White??

Just like most comedy sequels, it's generally not as funny as the original.

Same applies w/ this movie.

It had it's funny parts though. The biggest problem I thought was trying to force Thurman Murman into the movie as much as they did. Let's just say the guy was a child actor for a reason. He was just supposed to sit there and look ****ing stupid as hell in the first one, and he's a kid so nobody cares and it's funny to laugh at.

Now he's just a sad sack of shit who can't act his way out of a wet paper bag, and it was really just a letdown IMO. They tried forcing some old quotes and stuff from the original movie. IMO it didn't work. Not exactly asking for an academy award level performance here lol...The wow factor wasn't there w/ the kid.

Sort of like Dumb and Dumber To, then.

Tried to rehash old jokes and quotes, aging characters lose something along the way, and director forgets what made the original so great.

Sounds like they should have found another dumb kid instead of rehash the adult Therman Merman. Maybe just say it's Thermann Mermanns kid.
