Dull pain in my right testicle and groin area and in my lower abdomen.

First felt it about 2 hours ago and its pretty shitty.

Is this what a hernia feels like?

I had a similar thing. Started friday night and I began running a temp about 2 am monday morning. I went to ER and wound up with a twisted testicle and had surgery within an hour. They told me if I waited another six hours I'd have lost that nut. here's a wiki on the condition;

Either way I would wait it out, but if you begin having other symptoms (like fever) I'd suggest you get into ER.

When I have similar symptoms I just stand up or re-arrange my junk because It means I've sat on my balls again.

When I had it they gave me a two week course of Cipro.

It can be caused by a few things:

1) an STD
2) Sometimes if you create internal pressure by bearing down it can cause urine to flow backwards up the wrong plumbing. The urine then builds up bacteria, which causes inflammation. I think it happened to me from doing squats and Romanian deadlifts....or Romanian whores.

I was given Cipro for UTI's, (which I'm prone to getting), and it works wonders for killing off infections fast.
