Dull pain in my right testicle and groin area and in my lower abdomen.

First felt it about 2 hours ago and its pretty shitty.

Is this what a hernia feels like?

might be epididimydous (spelling is obviously wrong).

i've had it a few times. basically, overexerting yourself, whether it's lifting something heavy, putting too much strain on your lower region, or sitting on the toilet at teh gay bar (joking).

my urologist diagnosed me in 2 seconds. too bad he had to do the hernia check--wanted to put my fist through his skull.

meds fixed me up in about 3 days.

i've had it around 6 times as a young adult. don't wait around. the sooner you see someone, the sooner you'll recover.

If it's not horrible pain it probably rules out testicular torsion, possibly Epididymitis. Feel around your sack and see if it feels like you have worms in there and if so it's probably Epididymitis. Regardless get your ass to an urgent care just to make sure.

I had a hernia repaired just a couple of months ago- your symptoms sound alot like mine did. Definitely get it checked! If that's what you have, the small intestine can protrude thru the hole, causing that pain you feel. If the intestine gets cut off (strangulated), that's a very bad situation.
