Pope Benedict Seeking Immunity?

Pope Benedict to seek immunity and protection from Italian President Giorgio Napolitano on February 23 Posted on February 14, 2013 by itccs

http://itccs.org/2013/02/14/pope-ben...n-february-23/

Pope Benedict, Joseph Ratzinger, has scheduled a meeting with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano for Saturday, February 23 to discuss securing protection and immunity from prosecution from the Italian government, according to Italian media sources.

Ratzinger's meeting follows upon the apparent receipt by the Vatican of a diplomatic note from an undisclosed European government on February 4, stating its intention to issue an arrest warrant for Ratzinger, who resigned from his pontificate less than a week later.

In response to the February 23 meeting, the International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State (ITCCS), through its field Secretary, Rev. Kevin Annett, has written to President Napolitano, asking him to refrain from assisting Ratzinger in evading justice.

Also listo, to clarify more regarding my post #174, I brought up families because if it happens there then that's a case of a man being married.

BTW some feminists claim it's due to having been a male dominant society for so long.
Sure, I get your point that a person can't rationally claim that celibacy causes pedophilia, or that engaging in regular healthy sex will prevent it. I am making an assumption based on my own experiences. I find that the longer one goes without sex, the more that sexual thoughts seem to creep in to every day situations. It's a goofy stretch to say that sooner or later we're all going to be kiddy ****ers if we don't get laid, but I'm wondering if there is a way for those clergymen to release some of that psychological pressure that all of us deal with. I do agree that an environment that is exclusive of, disrespectful to, degrading of or hostile to women is an unhealthy one.

Yup, you're a guy. How many times a day do men think about it even if getting it regularly? 30 times a day? I know it's a lot compared to women.

I don't know the answer to that. I only know that they're supposed to put spirituality before such needs and that in the RCC sex is for procreation not to release pressure. They go without other worldly pleasures too.

Did Christ have sex?

No, it's not 30 times a day. It's more than that. We only stop thinking about it when there's something else going on.

Hard to say. I don't recall it in the scripture and I doubt that they would include it. Well...I'm not going to be signing up to be a priest any time soon.

Well, there's a reason for a decline in priests. When there are none, then perhaps that's when it will change. It's tradition, so it's not like they can't change the marriage issue. The Eastern Rite allows it.

Well they are going to be picking a new Pope in a while. We'll see how it goes.

And when not thinking about that we are thinking how to avoid talking to them in cases like women like this one. And the thought of sex is giving her the benefit of the doubt she is attractive. If she is not and I was stuck with her I would spend most of my day thinking about escape~

So are you saying that you like piña coladas? And getting lost in the rain? Are you not into yoga? Do you have half a brain? Or do you like making love at Midnight, in the dunes on the cape? Maybe she's the love that you've looked for. Write to her and escape.

Never. I would never joke about religion. Much too serious a matter.

I remember that song, and nothing about that poster causes me the thoughts described in that song~
