After extensive research on the players in the upcoming draft, this how I would like us to draft... Round One-QB Geno Smith. Round Two WR Robert Woods. Round Three-CB Rob Alford. Round Four-ILBer Jon Bostic. Round Five-DE William Gholston. Round Six-CB Tyrann Mathieu. Round Seven-WR Marcus Dixon. (Posted from phone or I'd be more expansive on players) I hope to give in-depth analysis of players later. Thoughts?

Since the Chiefs probably receive a 3rd round comp pick, your list will work with moving Jon Bostic up to a 3rd round comp pick and William Gholston to a 4th round pick.

I like the picks -

Matt Cassel replaced by Geno Smith
Dwayne Bowe replaced by Robert Woods. There are 2 or 3 other WRs that might also be considered with this 2nd pick.
The mistake Stanford Routt replaced by Rob Alford.
Javon Belcher replaced by Jon Bostic.
Glenn Dorsey replaced by William Gholston.

I think the next two picks you might want to consider replacements for G/C Ryan Lilja and QB Brady Quinn.

But looks like a pretty good draft.

Robert woods is totally overrated. Gholston is a physical specimen who has never produced. I just don't like em. I'd rather have a corner like Rhodes or Amerson in the second.

I agree, actually. I was just going by the premise in the OP. I would like to get a speed guy but going into next season with Bowe, Breaston and Baldwin with a real QB and a real OC would be okay for now. If Baldwin still sucks, get a new WR next year.
