Several states have had citizens sign petitions to secede from the United States. Several law enforcement people have said they will not enforce new gun laws. Several states tried to sue over Obamacare. So has there ever been a president get the finger so openly in our history?

No, I wouldn't complain if he said something like that.

I personally wouldn't label him a token--that would imply George Bush didn't like blacks but picked him simply to hide that fact. A. There was controversy over the last gun ban. Maybe it wasn't quite as intense, but then a lot of shit has happened since then, like point B.

B. I think you have me confused with a republican. I'm registered independent and lean a little libertarian. So don't assume I didn't oppose things like the NDAA when a republican was in office. It was controversial then and it is controversial now.

C. It hasn't happened, but the law allows for it under the NDAA. Or haven't you been paying attention? States and cities around the country are already drafting legislation that tries to make it illegal for drones to be used in their areas. This is in direct response to the federal legislation that says they can use drones on US soil.

D. Personally I don't care who comes or goes in and out of the US. I just want them to have to follow the same laws and pay the same taxes that I do. And again, I don't give a **** which party is in office, it doesn't make it any less controversial. *Edit* Oh and ****ing google Obama immigration reform if you still don't know wtf I am talking about.

You say your complaints aren't partisan--I'll take you at your word. But when you said "controversial," I assumed you meant to the general population and not you individually. I also assumed you meant a REAL controversy and not something manufactured by partisanship.

A couple of these simply aren't real at all--he hasn't enacted nor proposed amnesty for illegals. And the others only became controversial, to the extent they actually exist, upon Obama's election.
