I remember the AVP game for PC that came out about 12 years ago. It was great...it had good graphics for the time and it was VERY suspenseful and scary if you played as the marine. Hopefully this captures that sense of scariness.

Really? The crusher, boiler & spitter don't appear in any of the official Alien(s) canon.

I pre-ordered off steam. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that they gimped themselves to DX9 instead of DX11. I guess that's what happens when it takes you 5 years to develop a game.
