Seems several companies do this every year. They know they aren't going to be accepted, so they issue a press release saying "the Super Bowl rejected this ad!" Yahoo or whoever runs with it, and they get a million hits.

Agreed. But does that mean that pornhub.com is OK to advertise too? I was pissed at the "wardrobe malfunction" back in the day cuz my kids were in grade school.

Just because lots of people use porn doesn't mean it's OK to advertise it. Well, it's OK to advertise and it's OK for CBS to decide not to.

Agreed on some of the other shit they DO advertise though.

I never even thought about it until recently when my 8 year old started watching tv with me more.

I actually get so pissed now.. the next time you are watching evening news or something on network tv after 5 or 6 pay attention to how many erection commercials come on..

I will cover the birds and the bees at some point but my kids can't watch spongeboob their whole life...
