He is a year and a half older
He has been on Missions in Honduras
He works at the local Food Bank + Another job and goes to college...

Should I kill him or let him live...

I keed but seriously probably the fastest way to push them together is to strongly disapprove of him. She's young but still old enough to start to choose for herself. She'll make mistakes...she'll learn. At this point all you can do is trust you raised her right and she'll make more good choices than bad.

R8ers its likely that he has some qualities that remind her of you. I'll guess its not the 110 lb feminine stuff. At dinner try to ascertain what those qualities are (positive or negative). But at 16 I think most kids are finding their way. I dated all kinds at that age. Different personalities, different ethnicities, exotic girls from other high schools... It's not until later that most find out what they want and the ones that find high school sweethearts and get married / and or have kids early either get very lucky or were looking for someone to cling onto to make up for an absent (physically or emotionally) father. Sounds like you are invested enough that its not the latter. Call it experimentation and give the Liberal a chance. We're not all bad.
