This isn't a good precedent. In this case its no big deal. Romney can chose to be a sore loser and not show any class, that's his choice.

It's important that we show the world transfer of power. In this case Obama already had the power and Romney had none. But what if gore had not attended the Bush inauguration? That could have been a "real" issue.
