Jamaal Charles as trade bait?

Since Reid is a pass-happy kind of HC, and the old saying is that RBs are a dime a dozen, and (pasted from WIKI) He is currently the NFL's all-time leader in yards-per-carry average among running backs with 5.82 YPC.

His trade value will never be higher than right now, and the draft picks we'd get could go a long way toward rebuilding the O Line to protect GENO!!!

What ya think?

Jamaal should be even better with a Reid offense that has the opposing defense not stacking the box because they respect the pass.
and if Geno is our QB, defenses will have to respect the deep ball.

That said, I would only trade Charles for Adrian Peterson or an Elite QB.

WE ARE NOT THE DALLAS COWBOYS, AND NEVER WILL BE! Also, the Chiefs are not getting a Jimmy Johnson type HC, so don't assume that trading Charles for higher draft picks should be a good idea. By the way, the creater of this thread should go punch himself 1000 times in the face.

You heard it straight from the horse's mouth folks. Jamaal does not wish to be traded.

You’ve got the right idea but all the players mixed up.
It was Ditka when he coached the Saints basically traded away his draft to the Redskins to move up and take Ricky Williams. That was a once in a lifetime ****up on Ditka’s part that no one currently in the league is going to duplicate.

Edit: at least I think that's what you're talking about.

Im not worried about Charles getting old for a few more years. But if he has another year with 285 carries I would worry. The idea was that Hillis would spell Charles and keep his carries around 200 or less. That didn't work for shit. They either need to bring in a guy who can balance the carries or get an OC who can get Hillis to produce. They wouldn't trade Charles unless they plan on blowing everything up a la the Colts.

No he's talking about the Cowboys trading Herschel Walker.

The picks they got for Walker turned into Emmitt Smith, Alvin Harper, and Darren Woodson, among others.

Yes, yes, because running backs are so highly sought after in today's NFL.
