We need a thread committed to this subject, because I'm hearing it has a lot of stuff in it about the torture committed at Abu Ghraib and Gitmo.

This is not in the Media Center because, as always, there will be a distinctly political angle.

If you get a chance to see this movie, you should report back to us and let us know how you felt the movie depicted the techniques used by the CIA, and how it had an impact (if any) on your views on the subject.

Some people have claimed this thread is apologia for torture, others have suggested it exposes it as the heinous war crime that it was. The director has dodged the question as much as possible.

What have you heard about it? I am totally seeing this flick.
