Who is often left behind in education? Low income classes. Which races disproportionately make up the low income persons? Racial minorities.

Actually, I believe many people (regardless of race) who are economically struggling (or perceived to be struggling as compared to their counterparts) will vote for the person who offers them the most for free. Thus the reason the class warfare BS for the last 8 years has played so well.

I said democrat party. It has existed for a long, long time. And throughout it's entire history it was inflicted harm on the black community. That means way back when they created the KKK, when they tried to keep slavery, when they tried to prevent blacks from being able to vote, from being treated equally, from integrating society, to today, where they use the welfare state to destroy the family structure, create dependence upon government, and intimidate folks who don't agree with their policies, for political power.

No organization has inflicted more harm upon the black community in this country than democrats.

No, I'm not moving the goalposts. I just described what the welfare state is, and said we benefit from it. You probably want to make the welfare state into an exaggerated monster in order to say it provides a cradle to grave life of luxury.

Yes, even Democrats like myself belief that cradle to grave entitlements entrap people (of all races). But importantly, this country isn't built on a social Darwinist theme. It's built on a theme of opportunity and freedom. And sometimes Republicans believe that means it's the opportunity to find yourself in a ditch and pull yourself out. I get the theory: in the end, you are stronger. But I think more of the idea that it means when you find yourself in a ditch, you know you have a ladder somewhere that can help you get out of the ditch and back to that opportunity and freedom. My problem isn't so much that they deserve it, but because they might try to grab at people's ankles and bring them into the ditch.

The welfare state doesn't destroy family structure. It literally promotes family, in a way that is often denigrated (more babies = more tax deductions + more welfare).

The KKK was birthed by southern Democrats. But to impute that damage to today's Democratic Party is not done out of historical correctness, but to advance your Republican agenda.
