I would rather have multiple picks in 2nd and 3rd if it were me. I think Reggie will sniff out some starting talent there and that's the only way we become competitive soon... We have too many holes to fill.

The Chiefs just lost by 23 points to the team that just squeaked by the Raiders last week. I guess you aren't aware of the true art form that losing has become for the Kansas City Chiefs.

I'm pretty sure Charles has NEVER had 100 yards against Oakland. Gonna look it up.

He had a 103-yard game against them in 2009, but he had like a 50-yard TD run in that game.
Other than that he's had an 87-yard game and the rest are terrible. Oakland's line has owned us consistently. I see no reason for that to change.

Even if we beat Oakland we'll both be at 3 wins, we have the tie breaker with SOS. Head to head doesn't matter in league standings. Right?

I find it kind of funny how some people are so convinced we'd take Geno Smith even if we do get the top pick. Or the 2nd or 3rd or 4th pick even if he's still available. We have no idea what (insert GM) will do.
The other thing I find funny is that we just "have to" have the #1 pick in a year everyone knows is a down year for QB's... like anyone is such a sure thing. Ah hope springs eternal.

Best case scenario:
We get the first pick and trade back for more picks. Draft a RG and DT in the first and use a second for Alex Smith. /truefan ![]() |

Raiders have NINE DAYS to prepare.
If they lose to a Bowe-less Brady Quinn led Chiefs team, Dennis Allen deserves death by genital mutilation Shaun Smith style. |
