Life Christmas party's - Page 5

The Mrs & I are heading to the first of 3 company Christmas parties. I don't normally go but I've only been with the company for 6 months and my boss personally invited me, I feel obligated. Not to mention, this one has an open bar so, it won't be so bad.

Just curious how many of you go to company parties and do you go because you want to or because you feel you have to. Merry Christmas!

The best thing I ever got from a Christmas party was a sweatshirt about 7 years ago. Have done several potluck lunches that's it thru the years.

I won an xbox/kinect bundle last year, which was 400 bucks, took it back to best buy and traded it for a basic laptop and gave it as a gift~

Work parties are best during work hours when you are getting paid to be there. Not after hours when you want to be going what you want to do.

When I started with my company in 1984 our department held Christmas parties at a restaurant/bar and the spouses were not invited.

Try selling that one to your wife.
