Anyone know how to get laptop DVI out to 2560x1440?

Trying to hook my laptop up to an LCD that has a native res of 2560x1440.

So far the only thing I can do is hook it up and use 1680x1050.

The laptop's native res is 1920x1080. It has a GTX 670 so I know it will spit out 2560x1440.

Seems like it only wants to use the built in graphics card for the DVI out. It won't go over 1680x1050. If I disable it, it just turns off the LCD hooked up via DVI.

So I need to figure out how to get the DVI out on the laptop to use the Geforce card.

edit - ah, nevermind. Looks like the DVI out on this thing is single-link only. Needs to be dual link.
