Problem is that that name there is not really a population of American Crocodiles near New Orleans. They live mainly in the far southern part of Florida only. It is Gators that are in those Bayous near NOLA.

Crescent City Pelicans would have been better. They don't have to use New Orleans in the name. The Warriors play in Oakland but are called the Golden State Warriors.

I don't see why? It's not any worse than 75% of collegiate nicknames, and it's not any worse than the Dolphins. Shit it's better than the Heat, atleast there's an S at the end.
