You are a microcosm of this heated and divisive era, sportsshrink, and your time has come. We welcome substantive differences, but when wrapped in the package of hatred and bad faith, that nut will never be cracked. You were completely devoid of substance, anyway.
Excellent post, and gets right to the heart of why I will not miss him.

Personally, I think a more appropriate consequence to losing for FakeShrink would be an icon of Lucy from Peanuts sitting at her 5 cent psych. stand that would be permanently attached to any reference of him in this forum from now. Similar to Denise (for those old schoolers on here). He gets to stay around but forever with the taint of ridicule.

He already has that taint. Hell, he is a taint.

It's sad that he won't be around to announce the revelation of truth about Obama's birth certificate, which is surely just right around the corner now....

The real question here is who will step and overuse formatting and emoticons in their posts? There will also be a substantial drop in the use of hyperbole, poorly worded bias, catch phrases and buzz words.

I assume you see me in the same light then, because Direckshun tried to get me to make the same bet.

I think Direckshun and Literature should reconsider and let him come back. Maybe give it a week or two so you can feel like you won something or substitute something like VAChief suggested and then show some mercy.

Edit: And fwiw, I lobbied Chiefshrink to let you both off the hook before the election when I was confident he was going to win. I think he would have done it.

I really don't care for these bets. I don't like the idea of silencing someone who disagrees with you. With that being said, his posts were (typically) ridiculous and intentionally inflammatory. That in and of itself is not necessarily a bad thing when someone has a point. You had to sift through his Rush Limbaugh impersonation to find anything meaningful and, more often than not, that "something meaningful" simply wasn't there.
