Official 2012-2013 NBA Thread

Looks like James Harden has been To the Rockets for Jeremey Lamb, Kevin Martin and future picks. Plus... this is a general NBA thread.

I'm not sure there is anyone in the NBA who hasn't out coached Scott Brooks. God damn embarrassment.

Terrible coaching in the last 30 seconds. Bayless came up big too though. Hollins as well.

Hahahahaha....not laughing at you, just picturing someone yelling at the TV. Brooks would be maddening as your team's coach.

Not exactly an offensive display, both teams shooting 36%.

Gasol with a tip in with .08 left to win. Memphis deserved to win with that abortion of game management at the end of regulation. Never should have been in that position to begin with, but the Grizzlies took advantage.

MOTHER **** YOU SCOTT BROOKS.

Give me your Paypal Hamas. I probably owe you .10 everytime I say that.

I think I need a break until the playoffs. When I look at Brooks I just see a Matt Cassel mixed with Satan.

It was ugly.

Collison defends Randolph as well as anyone. Allen always does a good job on KD, but KD did get off in the second half.

Westbrook does not like your arena. he shoots like shit there every time.

The Bayless 3 reminded me of Vasquez in the triple OT playoff game 2 years ago except this time they pulled it out.

I guess I'm spoiled. 50-18 and I'm still bitching, but I feel like we will never quite get there with Brooks. I should I wish the Chiefs and Royals made me care this much.

These top teams in the Western Conference are just beating each other up. Really impressive top 5, and any of them could win that conference. Throw LA, Houston and GS into the mix and you've got an incredibly compelling Western Conference playoff mix.

I agree. Denver and Memphis are coming on strong. The West is wide open.

I think the Thunder were close, but now they don't have that third wheel in Harden. Every great team has had some kind of challenge, even within their own conference. The Lakers most recent dynasty with Shaq/Kobe had to overcome a really good Kings team. The Bulls had the Pistons/Knicks/Pacers in their conference. And even the year they won 72 there was also the Magic with Shaq in his prime. The Celtics had the Sixers and Pistons.

There literally might not be anyone out there to even challenge this team. The Thunder or Spurs is probably the best shot. But the Spurs have to get there... they're the only team that might not be scared to play these guys.
The East is barren, but SAS, OKC, MEM, DEN, and LAC could beat this Miami team at home.

I think Memphis and SA are the teams they Heat don't want to face in the Finals. Especially, when they probably won't be tested much up until that point. I would still think they would probably win, but it won't be easy.

The Spurs next Sunday is the only top team the Heat need to beat to run the table. They also have CHI twice and the Knicks again along with mostly a light schedule.
