Glad you asked. I posted this checklist earlier. It probably belongs in the thread header, and will be updated as the Chiefs close out their season and start a new chapter in their franchise story.

1. [X] Lose games and acquire the #1 overall pick
2. [X] Get ***** and the Patriot Way cronies the **** out
3. [X] Hire new GM/coach

YOU'RE the one who depends on hope. You're advocating cleaning out all of our best players and replacing them with rookies. What are the odds that you find REMOTELY adequate replacements for all of Flowers, DJ, Albert, Bowe, and Hali?

Very small. Very very very small. Under your plan you're putting us in an unmanageable hole for 10+ years. You're putting this team into a 2003-present Oakland Raiders type of hole.

That's a huge and unnecessary gamble. If a player is shown to be as fickle as it is depending on who's the coach and how they practice, doesn't it make sense that with a new coach in charge (hopefully one who's competent) they will play back at their usual high level?

I'm no football GM, but my theory makes a lot more ****ing sense than the garbage you're proposing.

For the record:

BlackBob's plan going into 2013: No QB, Manti Te'o, no other playmakers around him

Normal people's plan going into 2013: QB, no Manti Te'o, but we get to keep Albert, Flowers, DJ, Hali, Charles, and hopefully Bowe.

Also, why is it so damaging to a team if a QB busts versus a DT or an OT who busts?

Either way you still end up with a busted pick. And it's not like the other positions have the QB beat. You're just as likely to draft a bust WR, DT, OT as you are to draft a bust QB. Except when you draft a QB, the potential rewards are infinitely higher.

No dude, I am 100% for drafting QB after QB but, I realize we are starting the rebuild in 2013. You are a true fan because you believe we could go places with guys like Flowers, Bowe, and DJ. ***** hung his hat on those guys too...
