Teedubya getting after it

Take that, Chiefs.

http://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments...n_me_to_get_a/

The KC Chiefs just blocked me on Twitter. LOL Last night, I tweeted that for the 4th year in a row, the Chiefs are at the bottom of salary cap spending and that the owner, Clark Hunt, is hoarding cap dollars. The Chiefs commitment to mediocrity has made me not care much about being a fan... They responded with this DM.
http://imgur.com/7VbfJ
I responded that it is good to know that the KC Chiefs have an immature teenager running their social media.
I, as a fan for my whole life of nearly 40 years, who have never seen the Chiefs in a Superbowl, nor have I seen a playoff win in nearly 20 years, nor have I seen a QB drafted in the last 27 years... I have a right to be pissed. The Kansas City Chiefs have no right to be pissy toward the fans. We are the ones paying your salaries. Shame on you, Chiefs. Oh, and congrats on 50 years of being in KC. 10 years of greatness, followed by 40 years of pathetic profiteering.

The only way the "get a clue" jersey works is if the numbers are not the same on the front and back. 68 and 86...

I think the point has been touched upon already but the fact Teedubya used a vendor badge to enter Arrowhead over the course of years and freely admits doing so on this site makes it kind of ironic that he's bagging on the Chiefs for being cheap.

Hey, teedubya, I'll give you ten bucks if you'll run a series of flattering articles about my company.

If you'd rather have casino cash or rep, I can go that route, too. It'll save us both some tax hassles with receipts and stuff.

I'm actually proud of TW, not only for making this a discussion point locally and nationally, but because he's really grown as a person. Social Media Director for a Fortune 500 company is something to be proud of and I'm glad to hear he's doing well.

He's a come a long, long way. Congrats, Dude!

The investment we make in this team is more than just monetary. I know there was a time where I was so invested in the team (without spending a dime on game tickets) that a loss would ruin my day. I understand wotcher saying... but it is is a ticky tack point. Valid... but ticky tack.

---

I applaud teedubya for saying what is on his, and most fans, minds about the current state of this ****tastic team.

Now that I am a STH, I get uber frustrated because though I have the cheapest tickets in the house... I still drive 3.5 hours to pay $27 for parking with not a ****ing soul in sight directing traffic. $50 in drinks and food for tailgating because I'm not going to pay $50 for a burger, fries, and a single beer in the stadium. Don't forget the two tanks of gas to get there and back.

Week 1, I parked 3300 feet from the stadium and my 80 year old FIL trucked our way into the stadium and found that there were a dick ton of open parking spots because the lot attendants couldn't be bothered with actually trying to fill the ****ing parking lot. When we get into the stadium, we inquire about an elevator to the top floor and 8 ****ing employees had not the foggiest idea where it was.

The whole organization from the GM down to the ticket takers feel zero ownership in their interactions with the fans and what little they do for us is nothing more than a marketing ploy to get people's money.

This organization as a whole ****ing sucks and until they realize how poorly they treat the fans, both by the product they put on the field as well as their interactions with the fans when camera's aren't on speak volumes about how they view the people that spend their hard earned money on a team that is obviously more concerned with making money than actually accomplishing what sports are, in the end, all about. ****ING WINNING.

But... it is my choice to be a fan.

I agree. It's tough. I was merely commenting on the ironic value. I don't really care otherwise.

This post makes it obvious Teedubya's every bit as responsible for the Chiefs being 30 mil under the cap as Clark is....

I can applaud and respect the effort, but its not going make any real change. This will all be forgotten about in a few weeks. Especially if they start winning. Winning changes alot of fans perspective and certainly brings the flames down.

This yes with out a doubt. OTOH, if we continue to get blown the **** up in games there is going be a huge revolt. At least there should be.

Teams across the league are putting up 35-45 points a game and if we can't produce to keep up or find a way to slow them down enough to win we are truly ****ed. There is no evidence to suggest our offense can produce that much points on a weekly basis. Likewise no evidence our defense can be strong enough to hold back teams onslaught.

Right now all we got to hope for is that Tamba Hali can be that difference maker in games and also soon the return of Flowers. At no point can we put our trust in the hands of Matt Cassel let alone the other two riff raf back ups.

Sure I think we can turn it around, but that's just my homer speaking out loud.

Next year the mother****er is going to be applauded by the masses of dumbasses because he'll increase spending by quite a bit, but only because he's being forced too through the CBA.
