I spoke with Dr. Paul this afternoon about continuing the fight by running on a third party ticket. I want to share what he said to me and let you know what needs to be done to make this happen. The only reason this discussion is taking place is because the Ron Paul supporters desperately want to feel that Ron Paul is still relevant.

News flash: Ron Paul is not relevant. He never really was.

His supporters are relevant only in that this is going to be a very close general election, and there is a possibility that they could hand the election to Obama if they siphon off enough naive Republican votes.

If they think that this will somehow cause people to respect them, they are mistaken.

No. Because there weren't any that did that. Pay attention. They were national election polls against Obama. There were two posted one from last summer. One was CNN or both were ,iirc.

What about all the talk about Ron Paul capturing so many delegates that a brokered convention would eventually turn to Ron Paul?

That could have happened if there was no shenanigans by the RNC, stripping of delegates, cheating at conventions AND if Santorum had not dropped out. Plus, I think it was a mistake to not go after Mitt but befriending him instead. And the shenanigans did not just happen to Paul's people it happened to some of the others too. Some of these cats were arrested and there were court cases too. I kept up with it closer than you. You're a mainstream media kinda guy.
