I doubt that I could do an adequate job of telling the stories here. He also gets the Ten Commandments dead wrong. The Catholics didn't "drop one".. they combined the first few and split the last. It's all still in there. He acts as if they were numbered to begin with. There are 17 or 18 lines that are parsed down to 10 commandments... I guess because people thought 10 was cooler then 17. It's not, but whatever.

The words are the same (allowing for small differences in English translations from the Hebrew), but different church bodies end one commandment and begin another in different places.

The commandments didn't come with numbers in the original Hebrew text or in any translation I have seen.

Um, no one is CHANGING it. They are just putting it into an easy to understand form. And it started with the Jews parsing them out in the Talmud. Then the Catholics switched that up. The verses in the Bible stay the same.

And let's not get into the whole "God's" word thing. The reason the (new testament) bible is made up of the books we know is because the Catholic Church removed and often destroyed the ones they didn't agree with. (Oversimplification but you get the drift)

No, you misunderstand me. There were quite few early works that simply don't exist today because they disagreed with Catholic teachings and were subsequently destroyed. It's always funny to hear people say the Catholic Church doesn't follow the bible when they are the single entity most responsible for the contents of it. (again, talking New Testament here)

You need to do a little reading on the Canon.

Does your Bible have the Gospel according to Thomas? If not you can thank the early church for that, since some early groups of believers considered it to be the word of God. Decisions of what to include and what to exclude were made by leaders of the early church.

Doubting Thomas? Many books were thrown out due to the fact they didn't seem to fit with the other texts. Know that i'm totally against ANY kind of book burning(destruction).

When you write "Catholic" you mean the predecessor body to the Roman Catholic and Orthodox bodies correct?

Yep.. we commonly call that the early Catholic Church. Of course there are probably some Copts, Greeks and others that may take exception.
