The country music repository thread
I've considered doing this for a long time but often figured I was the only one that cared. Kyle DeLexus' thread has shown me that's not the case.
If you have an appreciation for country music feel free to use this as a place to post videos, news, personal favorites lists, concert experiences and anything else country related. Old or new doesn't matter. Just have fun with it and ignore the haters. Naturally I have to post the greatest country song of all time as a starter. |

Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash..... really? As great as the whole song is it really gets it's kick into serious gear on Johnnys 4th part imo.

I've heard that Danica Patrick is going to be in the video for that one. Good or bad? Who knows...
OK, Doctor....I'm gonna try something here. This is a song from Miranda's current album that sounds old-school, like it could have been from Reba back in the day, or maybe Patty Loveless (who actually does sing harmony on this one, and she's unmistakable). Let's give 'er a whirl.

To me, songs that sound different from the norm are interesting. I'm not even a huge fan of the song or Josh Turner for that matter, but this one always gets my attention because it just doesn't sound like anything else that I've heard.
